Safety is essential to doing things The Maverick Way. The safety of our drivers, our customer's freight, and the general public with whom we share the road is something we hold in the highest regard.

At Maverick we have voluntarily invested millions of dollars in safety technologies such as collision mitigation systems, roll stability control, and lane departure warning systems.  The reason for this is simple:  we know it is the right thing to do.

In addition, the hiring requirements at Maverick are among the most stringent in the industry. Though our employees complete an extensive safety orientation, we also continue to invest heavily in work-force development and higher training standards for our employee drivers. Through these and other efforts, we strive to ensure that only the most safety-conscious people are employed with us.
