MAVERICK TRANSPORTATION, LLC ANNOUNCES DRIVER PAY INCREASE

Maintaining their history of industry leadership, Maverick Transportation, LLC announced a pay raise for current and potential drivers, effective May 2, 2010. "Increasing driver pay demonstrates our ongoing commitment to offer the best compensation plan and the best driving job in the industry," said Stephen Selig, President and COO.

Under the new plan, Maverick will implement a $.04/mile pay raise across the board for incoming, experienced drivers. Students will receive a $.02/mile starting pay increase, with an additional $.03/mile increase after both their three and six month marks. Current drivers are also eligible for this increase based on division and tenure.

Along with the pay increase, Maverick will continue to offer weekend home time, per diem pay, fuel bonuses, tarp pay, detention pay, referral bonuses, and complete medical benefits.

In addition, Maverick recently announced new opportunities available for drivers in their new temperature controlled fleet and an expanded hiring area in their Regional Southwest Division which includes portions of Northeastern Texas.
