Maverick Transportation, LLC, recently announced a new Driver Liaison position, designed to support the company's recruiting and retention efforts. Veteran Maverick driver Warren Scott has accepted the new position.
Scott, a Maverick driver since 1991, comes highly qualified to the role. His accolades include 2 Million Miles Safe Driving, a former Driver of the Year title, 5,000 claim free/accident free loads delivered, and more. The liaison position, designed to be both an ambassador to the current fleet and a representative to potential new drivers, will first and foremost serve as a "mentor" to current Maverick drivers.
"Maverick recognized the need for someone of Warren's caliber to be out on the road helping our fleet, acting as both a mentor and sounding board. We will also utilize Warren in various recruiting functions as time permits," said Vice President of Corporate Development and Sustainability Kim Williams Gary. Adding, "We are very excited to have Warren take on this new role."
Based in Little Rock, Arkansas and operating over 1,200 units, Maverick has 30 years of experience serving the flatbed, specialized, dry van, and temperature controlled transportation markets throughout North America.
